Description: Another project by Leonid Parfenov, the famous author of "The Other Day." The project is in its own unique and has a deep historical character. At the same author was able to remain objective and not to sink to the banal populism, which is typical of many entertainment programs on television today.

Excursion into the history of the Russian Empire is really a very detailed and thorough. Were collected a lot of historical documents, the authors have done a great job of the project, seeking to make it as interesting and simple. Not making it easy and not adapting to the needs of all audiences.

The shooting took place not only in the capital, but throughout the vast country. The authors have visited, even in the most remote villages, if they could find evidence that some of the natives played an important role in the fate of the Empire or its individual members. Historical documents here are not only business archival evidence, but also the personal correspondence of prominent persons, historical anecdotes, and even personal diaries. Therefore, such a view is actually full of episodes - a real pleasure.
