The main character - a fighter pilot Vladimir Samoilov - simple children's home guy, "sick" sky in childhood. Realized his dream, he enrolled in flight school, and the sky became his second home for life.
One lovely June afternoon sky sounded monotonous howling roar of bombs and land sprinkled with blood. The Great Patriotic War has fallen on the shoulders of yesterday's flight school graduates - young officers, Vladimir Samoilov, odessite Kostya Maretsky, romance Kohl Voronin and the Ural hero Basil Astakhov. The war was their best teacher, turning to the real masters of the sky. In this case, your friends are going to know the horrors of war - check your friendships, find true love and lose, to see how close to dying, to preserve the honor and dignity and to be ready to die at any clipă ... Not all of them will return home to meet the long-awaited victory, with tears in her eyes.
